About Me

I'm Craig, I am a Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.

I have also trained as an Eating Disorder Practitioner and a DBT Therapist.

At times life can feel complex and often overwhelming. Everyone can experience

racing thoughts and/or emotions which require a safe place to talk to overcome

them. I believe that no challenge is too big or small for therapy as everyone has a different experience of life.

Whether there are specific traumas or diagnoses you are wanting to work through, figuring out what you want for the next chapter of your life, A space to explore your own life and thoughts or anything in-between; it has a welcome and safe space with me to be explored. I work in a collaborative and non-judgemental way to help you work towards a life worth living.

My Experience and Training

I have worked in a mental health setting for over 7 years. The start of my journey involved working in an intensive care psychiatric unit for young people which emphasised the importance of being able to create a safe and secure space to enable people to feel valued, enough and heard; all whilst helping them implement coping strategies to help build their resilience for whatever life may throw at them.

I Qualified as a Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counsellor from the Metanoia Institute.

I have also completed specialised training to work as an eating disorder practitioner and am adept at helping clients cope with the challenges that come with this particular diagnosis. I also psychoeducation sessions and support for those who have someone close to them suffering from an eating disorder. Sometimes those doing the supporting need support to.

I have also undergone intensive training to become a DBT Therapist. I feel this allows me to offer a more well rounded and collaborative approach to the standard models of therapy whilst still keeping the clients safety and confidentiality at its core.
