Workshops and Support

Here you can find details of any upcoming workshops that I am running. These are often done with a colleague of mine.

I am also passionate about supporting those who are doing the supporting, whether that be some psychoeducation, particular mental health challenges/diagnosis or just a space to feel held. These can be done individually or as part of a group  

Support for the Supporters

Sometimes we can focus so much on those struggling and in immediate need we neglect our own emotional needs and limitations. We can often feel like we can't reach out to others/don't want to be a problem. Here's the thing if you are feeling supported and well equipped with more knowledge or just a bit more energy then it greatly increases the quality of support you can offer someone, as well as helping to inviting them to seek their own journey to mental wellness (if they haven't already started).

These groups are designed to bring people together in a supportive and holding environment to talk about challenges specific to them as well as some psychoeducation around mental health conditions.

Eating Disorder Specific Support 

Supporting someone going through an eating disorder can be incredibly challenging. Whether its something new to you or you feel like you can't quite remember life before it, the aim of this group is to provide a safe and supportive setting to help people connect and share experiences to feel more empowered and less isolated.

Mindfulness

Before you look away or roll your eyes, hear me out.

Mindfulness is not just the stereotype of meditation and humming in an awkward position. If you read the title mindfulness and paid attention to the emotion you had, guess what, you were being mindful. In these groups we look at what it really means to be mindful and practice mindfulness whilst hopefully making it relevant to your own life to help you find a sense of peace and calm when things get too much.
